Wednesday, Sept. 7

• A 32 year-old man of St. Francis Woods Road was arrested at 11:55 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident).

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 155 Middle Beach Road at 2:04 p.m.

• Neighbor trouble was reported at 105 River Road at 6:56 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 8

No arrests were made.

• A structure fire was investigated at 36 Farm View Drive at 2:27 a.m.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 633 Boston Post Road at 7:23 a.m.

• A missing adult complaint was investigated at 175 Copse Road at 11:59 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 9

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 980 Durham Road at 3:03 p.m.

• A domestic dispute incident was investigated for a walk-in complainant at police headquarters at 3:52 p.m.

• A window break incident was investigated at 1474 Durham Road at 4:10 p.m.

• A structure fire was investigated at 546 Boston Post Road at 11:21 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 10

• A 22 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 11:20 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Horse Pond Road at Kimberly Lane.

• A building was found open during a routine patrol check at 17 Bartlett Drive at 9:03 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated in front of 69 Copse Road at 3:09 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 12

• A 61 year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 8:40 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• An animal nuisance was investigated at 87 Surf Club Road at 1:13 p.m.

• A theft was investigated at 4 Cohassett Lane at 5:36 p.m.

• A report of animal bites was investigated at 246 Opening Hill Road at 10:17 a.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

• A 27 year-old Westbrook woman was arrested at 7:40 p.m. at 350 Summer Hill Road and charged with breach of peace.

• A 29 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:57 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A motor vehicle theft was reported at 50 Nortontown Road at 1:14 a.m.

• Harassment was investigated at 15 Signal Hill Road at 8:47 p.m.

• A 50 year-old man of Paper Mill Drive was arrested at 3:45 p.m. and charged with two counts of assault in the third degree, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle, three counts of reckless endangerment in the second degree, and strangulation in the second degree.

• Harassment was investigated at 560 Durham Road at 10:22 a.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at 99 Harbor Avenue at 7:27 p.m.

• A missing child report was investigated on Bartlett Drive at 7:39 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 22

• A 39 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 3:45 a.m. and charged with criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief in the third degree.

• A 44 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:45 a.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief in the third degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree, two counts of failure to appear in the first degree, and two counts of failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 44 year-old Old Saybrook man was arrested at 4 a.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the sixth degree, use of possession of burglar’s tools, and conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree.

• A 28 year-old Guilford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:48 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A theft of items from a motor vehicle was investigated at 77 Bradley Road at 2:12 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1291 Boston Post Road at 3:54 p.m.

• A 19 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 7:30 a.m. and charged with burglary in the second degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the second degree, larceny in the first degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the first degree, criminal trover in the second degree, 19 counts of conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, 19 counts of burglary in the third degree, five counts of larceny in the fourth degree, two counts of larceny in the fifth degree, and 16 counts of larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 34 year-old Clinton woman was arrested at 5:53 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, risk of injury to a minor, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 4 Governor’s Way at 8:40 a.m.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated at 290 Green Hill Road at 9:35 a.m.

• A landlord/tenant dispute was investigated at 688 Durham Road at 3:19 p.m.

• An animal nuisance that resulted in an animal being placed into the animal shelter was investigated at Buck Hill Road at 3:01 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

No arrests were made.

Thursday, Sept. 8

No arrests were made.

• A 24 year-old East Haven woman was issued a citation at 6:02 a.m. for failure to maintain the reasonable distance apart after the 2006 Nissan Sentra she was operating northbound on Route 81 near South Route 80 struck the rear of an unknown vehicle that fled the scene northbound on Route 81. Police could not locate the struck vehicle.

Friday, Sept. 9 to Saturday, Sept. 10

No arrests were made.

Sunday, Sept. 11

• A 40 year-old man and a 40 year-old woman of the same Schnoor Road residence were arrested at 4:56 p.m. Each party was charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act. Each party was processed on a $1,500 bond.

Monday, Sept. 12 to Friday, Sept. 16

No arrests were made.

Saturday, Sept. 17

No arrests were made.

• A 55 year-old Higganum man was issued a citation at 12:58 p.m. for operating an over-height vehicle, having inoperable brakes, improper license classification for vehicle driven, failure to have a medical waiver, operating a tractor trailer without a permit, and other motor vehicle violations after the tractor trailer he was operating eastbound on Route 148 struck and tore down an overhead wire. The wire came down on the hood of a 2015 Lexus operated by a 35 year-old man of Wolf Hollow Lane, which was traveling behind the truck.

• A 78 year-old woman of Alders Bridge Road was issued a citation at 4:43 p.m. for failure to drive right after she lost control of the 2007 Ford Focus she was operating southbound on Hemlock Drive near Route 80 and struck a utility pole. The operator sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic in Westbrook for treatment.
