The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Clinton

Wednesday, Aug. 10

• A 20 year-old North Branford man was arrested at 12:05 a.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal manufacture or distribution of drugs, and possession of marijuana.

• A larceny was investigated on John Street at 10:18 a.m.

• A complaint about identity theft was investigated on River Road at 1:09 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 11

• A 21 year-old Ivoryton man was arrested at 1:07 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to have tail lamps or marker plate lights, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Liberty Street at Long Hill Road.

• A larceny was investigated on Airline Road at 9:28 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on East Main Street at 11:57 a.m.

Friday, Aug. 12

• A 41 year-old man and a 39 year-old woman of the same Meriden residence were arrested at 1:19 a.m. and charged with having weapons in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Glenwood Road.

• A 20 year-old man of Elsie Lane was arrested at 11:52 a.m. and charged with breach of peace and public indecency following the report of a suspicious person on Ben Merrill Road.

• A 44 year-old man of Hurd Bridge Road was arrested at 4:20 p.m. on a warrant charging him with risk of injury to a minor, disorderly conduct, and reckless endangerment in the second degree.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 3:42 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on West Main Street at Grove Street at 5:58 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 13

• A 27 year-old Plainville woman was arrested at 8:43 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street.

• A 47 year-old man of Old Mill Road was arrested at 9:17 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street.

• Larcenies were investigated on East Main Street at 11:56 a.m. and 2:38 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on East Main Street at 1:58 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 15

• A 41 year-old woman of Fir Ridge Road was arrested at 6:35 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A theft was investigated on Pratt Road at 1:56 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on West Main Street at 4:17 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on Kelseytown Ridge Road at 7:31 p.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Mallard Lane at 10:23 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

• A 34 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 9:01 p.m. and charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree, possession of narcotics, illegal manufacture or distribution of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to have lights lit or devices illuminated following a motor stop on West Main Street.

• A larceny on Pratt Road was investigated at 11:32 a.m.

• A trespass complaint was investigated on Snow Lane at 2:15 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 18

• A 25 year-old Higganum woman was arrested at 9:09 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on River Road near Fox Hill Road.

• An animal nuisance was investigated on Fairy Dell Road at 2:33 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Old Post Road at 4:01 p.m.

• A dispute was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 10:21 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 19

Saturday, Aug. 20

• A 55 year-old Deep River woman was arrested at 8:06 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street at Waterside Lane.

• A noise complaint was investigated on East Main Street at 2:17 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on West Main Street at 2:17 p.m.

• A complaint about an intoxicated person was investigated on West Main Street at 8:04 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on John Street at 10:13 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 21

• A 42 year-old woman of West Main Street was arrested at 2:03 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, disobeying the signal of an officer, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Beach Park Road at East Main Street at 1:19 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on East Main Street at 1 p.m.

• Harassment was investigated on James Vincent Drive at 1:01 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 22

• A 45 year-old man of East Main Street and a 48 year-old Westbrook man were arrested at 3:33 p.m. Each party was charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 47 year-old man of Ninety Rod Road was arrested at 3:41 p.m. on a warrant charging him with strangulation in the third degree, stalking in the third degree, and assault in the third degree.

• A 15 year-old was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree (shoplifting).

• A passing of bad checks was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

• A larceny was investigated on Riverside Drive at 9:56 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 4:56 p.m.

• A noise complaint was investigated on Shore Road at 10 p.m.

• A 42 year-old man of West Main Street was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:52 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to yield to a pedestrian on East Main Street at Waterside Lane.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 5:18 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 25

• A 29 year-old man of Egypt Lane was arrested at 6:33 a.m. and charged with having weapons in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, traveling unreasonably fast, possession of one-half ounce of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Killingworth Turnpike at Silver Birch Lane.

• A 52 year-old man of Long Hill Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:12 a.m. was issued a misdemeanor at 11:12 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) and disobeying the signal of an officer.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 10:11 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Waterside Lane at 12:17 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Ironworks Road at 2:11 p.m.

• Criminal mischief was investigated on Waterside Lane at 2:40 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 27

• A 27 year-old man of East Main Street was arrested at 2:02 a.m. and charged with criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer (non-assaultive). In the same incident a 24 year-old man of West Main Street was charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street.

• A 37 year-old New Britain man was arrested at 2:54 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.

Sunday, Aug. 28

• A domestic dispute was investigated on East Main Street at 10:37 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 29

• A 40 year-old woman of East Main Street was arrested at 9:23 p.m. on a warrant charging her with four counts of forgery in the third degree.

• A larceny was investigated on Pearl Street at 11:33 a.m.

• Identity theft was investigated on Country Village Lane at 3:56 p.m.

• Identity theft was investigated on Kelseytown Road at 5:14 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

• A 62 year-old New London man was arrested at 12:22 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• The issuing of a bad check was investigated on East Main Street at 7:57 a.m.

• An assault was investigated on Brush Hill Road at 9:49 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

• A 41 year-old man of Old Post Road was arrested at 12:51 p.m. on a warrant charging him with violation on probation/conditional discharge.

• A 31 year-old man of Iroquois Drive was arrested at 10:55 p.m. and charged with intimidation in the third degree based on bigotry or bias.

• The theft of items from an automobile was investigated on Riverside Drive at 9:21 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 6:01 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 1

• A 64 year-old man of Greenfield, New York was arrested at 5:57 p.m. and charged with reckless driving following a motor vehicle accident on East Main Street.

• Criminal mischief was investigated on East Main Street at 10:55 a.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on Cow Hill Road at 1:19 p.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Tamarac Drive at 4:47 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 2

• A 50 year-old man of West Main Street was arrested at 8:39 p.m. and charged with disorderly.

• A 20 year-old Hamden man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:39 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, failure to have tail lamps or marker lights, and failure to carry insurance card.

• A noise complaint was reported on Walnut Street at 10:22 a.m.

• A neighbor dispute was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 4:11 p.m.

• A 27 year-old man of Boston Post Road was arrested at 11:07 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 39 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 12:21 p.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the first degree.

• An 18 year-old Southbury man was arrested at 11:34 p.m. and charged with use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of liquor by a person under the legal age.

• The report of an animal bite was investigated on Nod Road at 8:43 a.m.

• A larceny was investigated on Central Avenue at 4:54 p.m.

• A 25 year-old Hamden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:37 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident).

Monday, Sept. 12

• A 44 year-old Colchester woman was arrested at 4:12 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fourth degree, possession of a shoplifting device, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A larceny was investigated on Olde Orchard Road at 6:04 p.m.

• An 18 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 8:55 p.m. and charged with possession of narcotics, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of registration plates, failure to carry a driver’s license, and failure to have headlamps following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street at Beach Road.

• A 54 year-old man of Ironworks Road was arrested at 9:24 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to keep right on a hill or curve.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

• An 18 year-old man of Cow Hill Road was arrested at 1:09 p.m. on a warrant charging him with threatening and breach of peace.

• A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 1:28 p.m.

Westbrook

Wednesday, Aug. 10

• A 21 year-old man of Mink Rock Road was arrested at 12:09 p.m. and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, a 2015 Hyundai Sonata bearing Connecticut registration plate 367-UTN. He was processed and released after posting a $2,500 surety bond and issued an Aug. 24 court date in Middletown Superior Court.

• A larceny at Williams and Sonoma department store at the Tanger Outlets located at 314 Flat Rock Place was investigated at 5:40 p.m. Two Kitchen Aid mixers valued at $500 each were stolen by two adult white males and one adult white female. The trio fled the scene in a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, color blue, bearing Connecticut registration plate AAO8361. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Trooper Gregory Hunter at 860-399-2100. All calls will be kept confidential.

• A 16 year-old Clinton girl was issued a citation at 3:49 p.m. for failure to grant right of way to oncoming traffic after the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox she was operating northbound on East Pond Meadow Road crossed over the center line and collided with a 2004 Dodge Durango operated by a 62 year-old woman of Wrights Pond Road. One vehicle occupant was transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center in Westbrook for treatment of minor injuries. All others involved refused medical attention. Both vehicles sustain heavy damage and were towed from the scene.

• A 21 year-old Chester man was issued a citation at 4:38 p.m. for making a restricted turn after the 2009 Honda Civic he was operating northbound on Route 145 (Stevens town Road) drifted over the centerline causing the 74 year-old driver (from Florida) of a Toyota to swerve and strike a tree. Both the driver and his 73 year-old female passenger were transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

• A 21 year-old Deep River woman was issued a citation at 7:22 p.m. for failure to grant right of way to coming traffic after she turned from Boston Post Road westbound into #359 and was struck by a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up truck operated by a 51 year-old Bristol man. No injuries were reported or observed.

Friday, Aug. 19

• A 30 year-old New London man was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the third degree and criminal trover damage to a motor vehicle in the first degree. He was processed and held on a $100,000 bond.

Saturday, Aug. 20

• A 49 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 1:52 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 51 year-old woman of Mohawk Road was arrested at 10:34 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and making an improper turn on Pond Meadow Road.

Sunday, Aug. 21

• A 24 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:22 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Monday, Aug. 22

Tuesday, Aug. 23

• A 35 year-old Old Saybrook man was arrested at 8:02 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

• A 55 year-old Essex woman was arrested at 11:26 p.m. and charged with larceny in the first degree, making a false statement in the second degree, and public assistance fraud. She allegedly defrauded the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in the amount of $4,870. She was processed on a $5,000 bond.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at Water’s Edge Resort & Spa. Multiple Cola-Cola machines were pried open with a blunt object and the coin sorter was removed from two units. The sorter unites were recovered near the beach south of the complex. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. and midnight. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Trooper Donald Dunning at 860-399-2100. All calls will be kept confidential.

• The theft of a gold watch valued at $300 form a private residence on Boston Post Road was investigated at 1:20 p.m. It was believed the theft occurred two weeks prior.

Saturday, Aug. 27

• A 42 year-old man of Cold Spring Road was arrested at 10:57 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following the report of a dispute. Police discovered that the accused was intoxicated at the time. He was processed on a $2,500 bond.

• A 25 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to stop on the right, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license

Tuesday, Aug. 30

No arrests were made.

• Criminal mischief was investigated at 183 Chapman Mill Pond Road at 2:49 p.m. A driveway swing gate was damaged. Evidence indicated that an older motor vehicle of unknown make and model was driven into the driveway of the residence and collided with the gate. The vehicle was then driven from the scene. The driver failed to leave his or her contact information. Anyone with information about this incident is requested to contact Trooper Joseph O’Connell at Troop F at 860-399-2100. All calls will be kept confidential.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

No arrests were made.

• A suspicious vehicle fire was investigated on Chapman Beach Road at 8:30 p.m. A camper trailer parked adjacent to the burning vehicle also sustained damage. The Department of Energy & Environmental Protection responded to the scene to coordinate the clean-up of a diesel fuel oil spill that occurred as a result of the vehicle fire. Anyone with information about this fire that would assist in this active investigation is encouraged to contact Trooper Joseph O’Connell at Troop F in Westbrook at 860-399-2100. Saturday, Sept. 3

• A 45 year-old Branford man was arrested at 1:14 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.

Sunday, Sept. 4

Monday, Sept. 5

• A 43 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 12:32 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and making an unsafe movement from a stopped or standing position on Essex Road. He was stopped for erratic driving and refused to submit to a standardized field sobriety test so he was automatically arrested for driving while under the influence based upon probable cause and how the drunk driving laws are written.

• A 25 year-old Niantic man was arrested at 12:34 a.m. on a warrant charging him with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 69 year-old Madison man was arrested at 5:41 p.m. and charged driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

• A 48 year-old homeless woman was arrested on Trout Lake Drive at 9:06 p.m. on a warrant charging her with violation of probation/conditional discharge. She was processed on a $1,500 bond.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

• A 53 year-old man of Denver, Colorado was arrested at 4:09 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening following the report of a disturbance at 65 Post Avenue. He was processed and released after posting a $1,000 surety bond.

• A larceny via a bounced check at a privately owned business located on Spencer Plains Road was investigated at 1:05 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 8

• A 39 year-old West Haven woman was arrested on a warrant charging her with larceny in the fifth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, reckless driving, and disobeying the signal of an officer (a repeat offender for this driving offense).

Friday, Sept. 9

Saturday, Sept. 10

• A 23 year-old Clinton woman was issued a citation at 10:47 a.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 2001 Dodge Stratus she was operating on Boston Post Road northbound 100 feet south of Hammock Road North and struck the rear of a 2016 Ford Escape operated by a 57 year-old Clinton man. The force of the impact caused the Ford to strike the rear of a 2001 Chevy K1500 operated by a 44 year-old Old Saybrook man. The operators of the Ford and the Chevy had slowed for traffic ahead. An infant in the Ford was transported to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Clinic as a precaution. An adult passenger of the Dodge was also transported to the clinic for treatment of a minor knee injury.

Sunday, Sept. 11

• A 33 year-old Newington man was arrested at 12:09 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway after he was stopped for erratic operation of a motor vehicle and failed a standardized field sobriety test.

• A 39 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 10:14 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the first degree.

Monday, Sept. 12

No arrests were made.

• A 16 year-old Old Saybrook girl was issued a citation for failure to maintain the reasonable distance apart after the 2004 Toyota she was operating struck the rear of a 2005 Ford Focus operated by a 20 year-old Clinton man who had slowed for traffic ahead. No injuries were reported or observed.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

• A 33 year-old Groton man was arrested at 12:06 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• An 18 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 bond.

Old Saybrook

Wednesday, Aug. 10

• A 17 year-old was arrested at 9:10 p.m. and charged with having weapons in a motor vehicle. The juvenile was processed and released to parental custody on a written promise to appear in Middletown Superior Court for Juvenile Matters. The youth was also issued a citation for possession of alcohol by a person under the legal age.

Thursday, Aug. 11

• A 32 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 7:01 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree on a warrant held my Mohegan Tribal Police. The accused was processed and turned over to the custody of Mohegan Tribal Police.

• A 36 year-old man of Mill Rock Road East was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:39 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at the railroad bridge. He was issued the misdemeanor summons and not the usual citation for this offense because this was the second time he’s been charged with operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

Friday, Aug. 12

Sunday, Aug. 14

• A 38 year-old man of Marina Point Drive was arrested at 1:14 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 43 year-old man of Ford Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:12 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and using a hand-held cell phone while driving following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Elm Street.

• A 39 year-old man of Mill Road West was issued a citation at 8:54 a.m. for allowing a dog to roam on Merritt Lane.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

• A 17 year-old was arrested at 11:44 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 24 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 5:29 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 19 year-old man of Sunset Avenue was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:05 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart following a motor vehicle crash on Boston Post Road at Middlesex Turnpike.

• A fatal motor vehicle related accident was investigated on Maple Avenue near Cambridge Court West at 8:11 p.m. A pedestrian was struck and died at the scene. The operator of the vehicle remained at the scene. The accident reconstruction team began their investigation, which included interviewing witnesses.

Wednesday, Aug. 17

• An 18 year-old man of Schoolhouse Road was arrested at 2:03 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance and possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police.

• A 49 year-old man of Chalker Beach Road was arrested at 7:10 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Thursday, Aug. 18

• A 21 year-old man of Sherman Street was arrested at 12:30 p.m. and charged with possession of narcotics on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police.

• A 61 year-old man of Indianola Drive was issued a citation at 1:48 a.m. for failure to halt possession of alcoholic beverage by a minor on Otterbrook Drive. In the same incident a 16 year-old was issued a citation for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Friday, Aug. 19

• A 30 year-old New London man was arrested at 12:15 p.m. and charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, three counts of larceny in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, two counts of criminal attempt, and criminal trover on a warrant held by the Old Saybrook Police Department.

• A 54 year-old man of Sea Lane was arrested at 8:58 p.m. and charged with avoiding an ignition interlock device and failure to obey a stop sign.

• An 82 year-old man of Knollwood Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:04 p.m. for creating a public disturbance on Knollwood Drive at Clubhouse Lane.

• A 54 year-old West Hartford woman was issued a citation at 1:27 p.m. for failure to ride a bicycle as near to the right side of the road as practicable on Boston Post Road as a result as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on August 20.

• A 44 year-old Groton man was arrested at 9:41 a.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and threatening in the second degree under the Domestic Violence Act. He was processed and held in lieu of a $5,000 surety bond he could not post.

• A 55 year-old woman of Dobbs Ferry, New York was arrested at 9:58 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to have lamps illuminated, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road.

• A 47 year-old Farmington woman was arrested at 2:01 p.m. on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police charging her with harassment in the second degree under the Domestic Violence Act.

Friday, Sept. 9

• A 54 year-old man of Sea Lane was arrested at 8:44 p.m. on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.

Saturday, Sept. 10

• A 26 year-old Westport woman was arrested at 12:10 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of a narcotic, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and disobeying the signal of an officer.

• A 52 year-old man of Boston Post Road was arrested at 12:24 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.

Sunday, Sept. 11

• A 33 year-old Taftville man was arrested at 1:33 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving without a license, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and violation of number of headlights.

• A 38 year-old Quaker Hill woman was arrested at 1:52 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 31 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 2:16 a.m. an charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 52 year-old Waterbury man was issued a citation at 7:27 p.m. for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Springbrook Road.

• A 19 year-old Shelton woman was issued a citation at 7:27 p.m. for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Springbrook Road.

Monday, Sept. 12

• A 34 year-old East Lyme woman was arrested at 6:23 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act. In the same incident at 32 year-old man of the same residence was arrested and charged with the same.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

• A 20 year-old Higganum man was arrested at 5:48 p.m. on a warrant charging him with burglary in the second degree and larceny in the fourth degree. He was processed and released into the custody of the Newington Police Department which held the warrant. He was also issued a citation for passion of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Middlesex Turnpike at Bokum Road.
