Police Incident Report for June 15 through June 21

Madison

Wednesday, June 15

• A 19 year-old man of Cornish Woods Road was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Occupation: office assistant.

• An unwanted person complaint was investigated at 198 Devonshire Lane at 8:29 a.m.

• A counterfeiting complaint was investigated at 514 Old Roll Road at 9:37 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was investigated a 290 Bradley Corners Road at 12:43 p.m.

• A report of a missing juvenile was investigated on Randi Drive at 2:40 p.m.

• A fraud complaint was investigated at 46 Granby Drive at 3:02 p.m.

• A complaint about juveniles was investigated at 768 Boston Post Road at 4:23 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Boston Post Toad at 5:03 p.m.

• A complaint about an unwanted person was investigated at 94 West Wharf Road at 6:16 p.m.

• Criminal mischief on public property was investigated on Green Hill Road at Mungertown Road at 7:09 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Chestnut Hill Road at 7:16 p.m.

• An unwanted person complaint was investigated at 47 Mending Wall Circle at 9:28 p.m.

Thursday, June 16

No arrests were made.

• A theft of items of a motor vehicle was investigated at 191 Boston Post Road at 2:33 p.m.

• A theft was investigated at 1500 Durham Road at 8:50 p.m.

Friday, June 17

• A 54 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 1:13 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (second time arrested and convicted for this offense), operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 60 Boston Post Road at 12:24 p.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 17 Dogwood Lane at 12:45 p.m.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Wildwood Avenue at 12:57 p.m.

Saturday, June 18

• A 46 year-old woman of Horseshoe Lane was arrested at 2:46 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and using a hand-held cell phone while driving follow a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Durham Road.

• Vandalism was investigated at 122 Middle Beach Road at 8:27 a.m.

Sunday, June 19

No arrests were made.

• An unwanted person complaint was investigated at 77 Webster Point Road at 4:02 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was investigated at 1301 Boston Post Road at 4:21 p.m.

Monday, June 20

No arrests were made.

• An animal nuisance was investigated at 18 Juniper Lane at 11:09 a.m.

Tuesday, June 21

No arrests were made.

• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at County Road at 8:22 a.m.

• A sudden death was investigated at 37 Dudley Lane at 7:35 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, June 15

• A 24 year-old man of Waltham, Massachusetts was arrested at 5:52 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree (theft of a motor vehicle) and criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree. He was arrested following a police chase and a motor vehicle crash at Cumberland Farms that he fled. He was held in lieu of a $10,000 surety bond.

Thursday, June 16

Friday, June 17

No arrests were made.

• At 3:39 a.m. troopers invested multiple reports of cars being burglarized during the overnight hours. None of the vehicles were damaged but the contents of each were disturbed. Only money was taken. Electronics, tools, and other items of value were left behind. Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Troop F at 860-399-2100. All calls will be kept confidential. Police reported that directed patrols will be conducted in the areas where the burglaries occurred: Roast Meat Hill Road and Warwickshire Drive. Surrounding areas will also be heavily patrolled. Police advise residents to keep their vehicles locked, as well as to lock their residences. Police also advise residents to keep all valuables within homes well secured when possible.

Saturday, June 18 to Sunday, June 19

Monday, June 20

• A larceny involving the use of fraudulent checks to withdraw funds from a business bank account was investigated at 156 Cow Hill Road (Behavior Management LLC) at 5:06 p.m.

Tuesday, June 21
