Police Incident Report June 8 to 14


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, June 8

• A 24 year-old man of a State Street apartment was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Thursday, June 9

No arrests were made.

• A 25 year-old Hamden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:48 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to have stop lamps.

• A 25 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:16 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and improper license classification for vehicle driven.

Friday, June 10

No arrests were made.

Saturday, June 11

• A 39 year-old man of New York, New York was arrested at 5 p.m. on a warrant charging him with criminal mischief in the third degree, robbery in the third degree, interfering with an officer, and criminal attempt.

Sunday, June 12

No arrests were made.

Monday, June 13

• A 25 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 4:22 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

Tuesday, June 14

• A 42 year-old man was Maple Avenue was arrested at 11:18 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• From June 8 to 14 North Haven police issued 11 citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, five citations for failure to renew registration, three citations for failure to drive maintain a reasonable distance apart, and two citations for traveling unreasonably fast. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, misuse of plate, failure to obey a stop sign, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, and failure to obey a stop sign.
