Madison

Wednesday, June 1

No arrests were made.

• An animal nuisance was investigated at 71 Bradley Road at 2:04 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated at 4:20 p.m. on Durham Road at Horse Pond Road.

• A fraud complaint was investigated at 142 Twilight Drive at 5:31 p.m.

• A 51 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 4:25 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A shoplifting incident was investigated at 136 Samson Rock Drive at 4:27 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries on private property was investigated at 331 Copse Road 5:10 p.m.

• An animal nuisance was investigated at 33 Shorelands Drive at 8:44 p.m.

• A disturbance was investigated at 238 Ridge Road at 10:53 p.m.

• A 28 year-old Hamden man was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A theft involving a minor consuming liquor was investigated at 36 Yankee Peddler Path at 12:40 a.m.

• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 100 block of Devonshire lane at 7:54 a.m.

• Harassment was investigated at 1065 Durham Road at 10:12 a.m.

• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 98 Bishop Lane at 8:09 p.m.

Killingworth

Wednesday, June 1 to Friday, June 3

Saturday, June 4

No arrests were made.

• An 18 year-old Higganum man was arrested at 11:32 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics, failure to keep a prescription narcotic in its original container, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of drugs within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing. The arrest was made after an investigation into complaints about loiterers and littering at the Route 81/80 commuter parking lot. When troopers investigated a gathering of cars at the parking lot containing teenagers, one vehicle was approached and the odor or marijuana was detected. Probable cause allowed the trooper to search the car, during which time the drugs and paraphernalia were found.

Sunday, June 5 to Saturday, June 11

Sunday, June 12

• A 51 year-old East Haddam woman was arrested at 3:16 p.m. a warrant charging her with larceny in the sixth degree and illegal possession of narcotics. The arrest made following an investigation into the theft of prescription narcotics (60 Oxycodone tablets) from the Killingworth Family Pharmacy located at 183 Route 81. The accused, an employee of the pharmacy, was identified as the thief via video tape footage that showed the accused remove a bag of filled prescriptions from a bin, study it for a short while, and then hide the bag inside her shirt, according to the affidavit. The video evidence was probable cause for troopers to make the arrest. The accused was processed on a $5,000 bond.

Monday, June 13

No arrests were made.

• A missing person report was investigated at 491 Route 148. Police reported that the missing person was noted as Brandon Early, age 22, Caucasian, 5’7”, slim, brown hair, and brown eyes. The clothing he was wearing was unknown. He was last seen on May 9th. Brandon is homeless, drug addicted, and has a history of mental illness according to police. His last known location was in New London. Anyone with information regarding Early’s location is asked to contact Troop F at 860-399-2100.
