Police Incident Report for March 30 to April 5


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, March 30

• A 31 year-old man of View Terrace was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree.

• A 35 year-old man of Main Street was arrested at 11:48 a.m. and charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, failure to keep a prescription narcotic in its original container, for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.

Thursday, March 31

• An 18 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 11:53 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree following a motor vehicle stop. He was also charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to display plate, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.

• A 40 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 3:40 p.m. and charged with larceny in the first degree.

• A 37 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 4:16 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. He was processed on a $10,000 bond.

Friday, April 1 - Saturday, April 2

No arrests were made.

Sunday, April 3

• A 37 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:47 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.

• A 30 year-old West Haven woman was arrested at 6:34 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to pay or plead a citation.

Monday, April 4

• A 24 year-old Wethersfield man was arrested at 3:04 a.m. and charged with forgery in the third degree, interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension. He was processed on a $10,000 bond.

• A 37 year-old man of Tyler Street was arrested at 11:58 p.m. and charged with violation of probation.

Tuesday, April 5

No arrests were made.
