Branford
Wednesday, March 16
• A 43 year-old man of Applewood Road was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the first degree and larceny in the fourth degree.
• A 38 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 11:45 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, illegal use of a credit card, and theft of identity.
• A 49 year-old woman of Alps Road was arrested at 7 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to pay of plead a citation.
• A 40 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics.
Thursday, March 17
• A 26 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, credit card theft, and illegal use of a credit card.
• A 70 year-old woman of Old Hickory Lane was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 41 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:52 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and improper parking.
Friday, March 18
• A 41 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 12:06 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and improper parking.
• A 32 year-old man of Waverly Park Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:28 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to obey a stop sign.
Saturday, March 19
• A 25 year-old man of an East Main Street apartment was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:25 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
• A 39 year-old man of Shore Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:23 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while out insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Sunday, March 20
• A 30 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, interfering with an officer, and disorderly conduct.
• A 65 year-old man of Creek Court was arrested at 1:25 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree.
Monday, March 21
No arrests were made.
Tuesday, March 22
• A 50 year-old man of a Church Street apartment was arrested at 7 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• A 31 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:15 a.m. and charged with larceny in the first degree.
• A 22 year-old man of Court Street was arrested at 5:59 p.m. and charged with breach of peace. In the same incident a 20 year-old East Haven man and a 23 year-old North Haven man were charged with the same.
• A 32 year-old man of a Main Street apartment was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:37 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.
North Branford
Wednesday, March 16

Thursday, March 17
• A 52 year-old man of Emerson Drive was arrested at 8:12 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Friday, March 18
• A 51 year-old North Branford man was arrested at 8:11 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening.
Saturday, March 19
No arrests were made.
• Between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. a number of teenagers were issued citations for possession of liquor by a minor. They included: An 18 year-old woman of Ridge Top Lane, a second 18 year-old woman of the same Ridge Top Lane address, an 18 year-old man of Marjorie Drive, an 18 year-old man of Meadow Brook Drive, an 18 year-old man of Harrison Road, an 18 year-old man of Doral Farms Road, an 18 year-old man of Village Street in Northford, and an 18 year-old man of a Mansfield Drive apartment in Northford.
Sunday, March 20
No arrests were made.
• A 31 year-old Ivoryton woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:25 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension. She was operating a black 2012 Acadia.
Monday, March 21 - Tuesday, March 22
No arrests were made.
From March 16 to 22 North Branford police issued 12 citations to motorists for traveling unreasonably fast, five citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and two citations for using a hand-held cell phone while driving. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to display plate, speeding, failure to comply with exhaust pipe requirements, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, failure to obey a control signal, and failure to obey a stop sign. North Branford police also earned a total of $3,987 in citation penalties.
