• An 18 year-old Branford man was arrested at 8:30 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, strangulation in the second degree, sexual assault in the first degree, two counts of assault in the third degree, and three counts of unlawful restraint in the first degree.
Saturday, Aug. 15
• A 38 year-old Northford man was arrested at 9:30 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.
Sunday, Aug. 16
No arrests were made.
• A 33 year-old Guilford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:28 p.m. for evading a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension (fleeing the scene of an accident). He was operating a green 1995 Ford Bronco.
• A 30 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:19 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, misuse of plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. She was operating a silver 2005 Dodge.
• A 27 year-old Westbrook man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:01 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension. He was operating a gray 2002 Honda Accord.
