Wednesday, Aug. 12 - Thursday, Aug. 20

Friday, Aug. 21

No arrests were made.

• A burglary was investigated on West Main Street at 6:37 a.m. During the overnight hours a Tano pocketbook and its contents were stolen from a single family residence. There were no signs of forced entry. Anyone with information regarding this matter is encouraged to call Resident State Trooper Matt Ewing at (860) 526-3605. All calls are kept confidential.

• A theft was investigated at 65 Goose Hill Road at 11:57 a.m. Within the prior week two chainsaws and a come-along were stolen from a barn behind the residence. No forced entry was made. Anyone with information regarding this matter is encouraged to call Resident State Trooper Matt Ewing at (860) 526-3605. All calls are kept confidential.

Saturday, Aug. 22

• A 50 year-old Somers man was arrested at 8:58 p.m. and charged with breach of peace and disorderly conduct following a disturbance at Hays Haven Marina located at 69 Railroad Avenue.

Sunday, Aug. 23 - Monday, Aug. 24

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, Aug. 25

No arrests were made.

• A theft was investigated on Baker Road at 6:34 a.m. A man reported that his vehicle keys were taken from the ignition. His wallet, containing various credit and identification cards, was also taken. Several vehicles in the area were entered but no items were reported missing.
