Westbrook Police Incident Report for July 1 to 3


Wednesday, July 1

• An 18 year-old Essex woman was arrested at 12:39 a.m. and charged with interfering with a police officer, illegal possession of narcotics, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The accused was in custody for a domestic dispute when police found that she was secreting a syringe that contained suspected heroin. The accused did not cooperate in turning over the contraband and attempted to pull away from investigators while they retrieved the illegal items. The liquid in the syringe field tested positive for heroin.

• A 49 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 3:05 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following a domestic disturbance on the 300 block of Old Clinton Road.

• A 46 year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 8:18 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

Friday, July 3

No arrests were made.

• A 21 year-old man of Bronx, New York was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:52 a.m. for reckless driving and passing on the right. He was radar clocked traveling at 110 miles per hour.

• A 48 year-old Farmington man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:16 p.m. for reckless driving. He was radar clocked traveling at 91 miles per hour.
