Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for June 26 to 30


Friday, June 26

• A 38 year-old man of King Street was arrested at 4:46 p.m. and charged with interfering with a police officer and breach of peace in the second degree.

• A 19 year-old man of West King Street was arrested at 8:05 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint in the second degree, and criminal mischief in the third degree.

• A 47 year-old Guilford man was arrested at 9:02 p.m. and charged driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and using a hand-held cell phone while driving.

• A 54 year-old man of Ridgewood Drive was arrested at 11:47 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct under the domestic violence act.

• A 50 year-old Essex man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:48 p.m. failure to have insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Saturday, June 27

No arrests were made.

Sunday, June 28

• A 30 year-old woman of White Plains, New York was arrested at 11:09 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fourth degree and risk of injury to a minor, five counts of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, ad illegally obtaining narcotics without a prescription.

Monday, June 29

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, June 30

• A 22 year-old woman and a 30 year-old man of the same Chester residence were arrested on warrants at 12:35 p.m. Each party was charged with burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, larceny in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree.

From June 24 to 30 Old Saybrook police also issued three citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and one citation for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.
