Westbrook Police Incident Report for June 20 to 23


Saturday, June 20

No arrests were made.

• The owner of a dog was issued a citation at 5:56 p.m. for allowing a dog to roam after his or her dog attached another dog and bit an adult man and an adult woman. The man's injuries were minor. The woman drove herself to the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Clinic for treatment of more serious injuries caused by the attacking dog.

Sunday, June 21

• A 35 year-old man of Salt Island Road was arrested at 12:40 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.

Monday, June 22

No arrests were made.

• Three juveniles from Louisiana who were considered to be runaways (and enroute to enjoy Rhode Island beaches) were taken into custody following a motor vehicle stop on Spencer Plains Road. The juveniles were returned to their parents.

Tuesday, June 23

No arrests were made.
