• A 41 year-old Chester man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:50 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, improper passing, and failure to carry proof of insurance following a two vehicle accident on Sunset Terrace at Abby Lane. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

• A 59 year-old Old Saybrook man was operating a 1997 Ford F150 northbound on Route 154 south of Gates Road when a tree limb fell and struck the top of the vehicle. Moderate damage was reported. No injuries were sustained in the crash.
