• A 27 year-old Niantic man was arrested at 10:29 p.m. and charged with possession of illegal narcotics following a motor vehicles stop.

• A theft was investigated on Rattling Valley Road at 1:50 p.m. An unlocked vehicle was entered during the overnight hours and a wallet was taken out of the glove box. State police warn residents to always lock their unattended vehicles and to never leave valuable items in vehicles.
