• A 40 year-old woman of Gilbert Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:22 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.

• A 23 year-old New London man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:33 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under registration suspension.
• A 21 year-old Killingworth woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:06 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to have insurance.
From April 22 to 28 Old Saybrook police also issued 27 citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 13 citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, four citations for traveling unreasonably fast, and two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.
