• A 33 year-old Torrington man was arrested at 6 a.m. and charged with larceny in the first degree.
• A 28 year-old man of Ansonia Drive was arrested at 11:!5 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 26 year-old East Haddam woman was arrested at 2:19 p.m. and charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and dispensing a controlled substance.
From April 22 to 28 North Haven police also issued five citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, three citations for failure to obey a control signal, two citations for traveling unreasonably fast, and two citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to grant right of way, unsafe backing, operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license, failure to renew registration, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and failure to obey a stop sign.
