• A 29 year-old man of Brainard Road was arrested at 10:25 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, strangulation in the second degree, and unlawful restrain in the second degree.
From April 22 to 28 Branford police also issued 27 citations for using a hand-held cell phone, 24 citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, 19 citations for failure to obey a control signal, two citations for traveling unreasonably fast, two citations for failure to obey a stop sign, and one citation for speeding.
