North Haven Police Incident Report for April 13 and 14


Monday, April 13

No arrests were made.

Tuesday, April 14

• A 39 year-old Bridgeport woman was arrested at 5:15 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree, fraudulent use of an automatic teller machine, illegal use of a credit card, identity theft in the second degree, violation of probation, and three counts of failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.

• A 34 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 10:30 p.m. and charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence and interfering with an officer.

From April 8 to 14 North Haven police issued 55 citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 13 citations for traveling unreasonably fast, three citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license, and two citations for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to obey a control signal, speeding, failure to renew registration, and traveling too fast for conditions.
