• A 24 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:40 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to property retrain a child under the age of four in a motor vehicle.
• A 64 year-old man of San Francisco, California, was issued a misdemeanors summon at 4:46 p.m. for creating a public disturbance.
Monday, April 13
• A 54 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:55 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 27 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:30 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, failure to have insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of license or registration.
Tuesday, April 14
No arrests were made.
From April 8 to 14 Branford police also issued 38 citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 13 citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, four citations for failure to obey a control signal, three citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license, two citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for passing in a no-passing zone, one citation for failure to travel an reasonable distance apart, and one citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
