Guilford Police Incident Report for April 9 and 10


Thursday, April 9

No arrests were made.

• A welfare check was made in front of 1 Whitfield Street based on an anonymous call. A man was sitting on a bench wearing short sleeves and short pants. There was no issue. The man was waiting for a bus.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on the 300 block of Bluff View Drive. The complaint reported there were too many vehicles parked in the street.

Friday, April 10

No arrests were made.

• At 9:17 a.m. a residence of 7 Lantern Hill reported that a baby was locked in a room. The fire department was notified. Fire personnel gained entry prior to police arrival. No assistance was needed from police.

• At 9:56 a.m. an anonymous caller reported that ducks were in the parking lot of 1116 Boston Post Road. The animal control officer herded the ducks across the street and they headed home.

• A complaint about internet fraud was investigated at 385 Three Mile Course. A Paypal account was hacked. The transaction was cancelled before the item(s) were shipped. The complainant was to receive a full refund.

• At 8:08 p.m. an anonymous caller reported that three juvenile males were behind Page Hardware tampering with pallets of wood. The trio had permission of the owner to take the wood.
