Guilford Police Incident Report for Nov.


Monday, Nov. 24

• A 33 year-old man of Russet Drive was arrested at 6:03 p.m. and charged with criminal violation of a restraining order.

• A resident of Flat Meadow Road turned old weapons over to police at 9:29 a.m.

• A theft was investigated at 268 Boston Post Road at 9:38 a.m. Items were taken from a truck.

Tuesday, Nov. 25

• A 54 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 12:43 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree.

• A horse on the loose was reported near Race Hill Road at 12:45 p.m.

• Guilford police assisted Branford police regarding an intoxicated woman who left Branford in an unknown direction. Police had no vehicle description but they were able to check the woman’s previous residence on the 4700 block of Durham Road. The accused did not show up at that residence.

During the week of Nov. 20 to 25 Guilford Police received 143 calls for service. Police made two arrests, investigated 27 motor vehicle accidents, and issued 17 citations, 38 written warnings, six verbal warnings, and one parking tag. Police also responded to 12 false burglar alarms. A total of 256 incidents were handled by police.
