• A 65 year-old Higganum woman was issued a written warning at 5:14 p.m. for making a restricted turn following a minor two-vehicle accident on Route 81 two tenths of a mile south of the Haddam town line. The warned driver was operating a 2009 Toyota Camry when she made an abrupt left turn in attempt to enter a private driveway and collided with a 1996 Cadillac Deville operated by a 48 year-old Middletown man. No injuries were reported at the scene as a result of the crash.
