Guilford Police Incident Report for Nov. 20 and 21


Thursday, Nov. 20

No arrests were made.

• A verbal argument was investigated between a father and daughter on Mirror Lane at 12:31 a.m. The argument was over an air mattress.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported in Bishop’s Fields at 12:17 p.m. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Marfe Drive at 1:55 p.m.

• A peddling without a permit complaint was investigated on Riverside Court at 4:39 p.m. Two subjects were going door to door trying to conduct home inspections. The subjects were described as a white male and white female, both in their 40s, and both were wearing bright green jackets.

• A domestic dispute was investigated at the Valley Motel located at 500 Route 80. The incident was a verbal argument only between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

• Suspicious activity was investigated on Cedar Grove Road at 11:26 p.m. A caller stated that he saw lights on inside his daughter’s house while the house was supposed to be unoccupied.

• A suicide attempt was reported on the 2900 block of Long Hill Road at 11:31 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 21

No arrests were made.

• A fraud incident was investigated on Bluff View Drive at 3:46 a.m.

• An animal nuisance was reported at 363 Nut Plains Road at 7:40 a.m. A woman reported that she found a bat in her daughter’s room and had placed the bat in a container.

• Harassment was investigated on the 400 block of Boston Post Road at 11:47 p.m. The caller stated that she and her boyfriend were being harassment and that she was afraid the harasser might return to the house to fight.
