Killingworth Police Incident Report for Sept. 10 to 17


Wednesday, Sept. 10 - Friday, Sept. 12

No arrests were made and no incidents were reported.

Saturday, Sept. 13

No arrests were made.

• A 30 year-old Chester man was arrested at 2:15 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute on Route 148. When police arrived the accused left the residence and engaged police in a foot pursuit through the woods for a half-mile before he was taken into custody. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.

• At 10:26 p.m. police reported that a 21 year-old Clinton man was operating a 2008 Volkswagen R32 when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle struck several trees and came to uncontrolled rest on its roof. Both the operator and his 21 year-old passenger of Clinton were seriously injured in the crash and transported to Yale New Haven Hospital. The passenger, Michael Jeradi, 21, of 29 Cedar Road, was later pronounced decease at the hospital. The case was still under investigation at press time.

Sunday, Sept. 14 - Wednesday, Sept. 17
