East Haven Police Incident Report for Aug. 9 to 12


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Saturday, Aug. 9

• A 22 year-old man of Elm Street was arrested at 3:22 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. He was processed on a $1,500 bond.

Sunday, Aug. 10

No arrests were made.

Monday, Aug. 11

• A 50 year-old man and a 33 year-old woman of the same New Haven residence were arrested at 3:30 p.m. following a shoplifting incident. Each party was charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Tuesday, Aug. 12

• A 22 year-old woman of Haines Street was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer, making a false statement, and falsely reporting an incident in the second degree. She was processed on a $2,500 bond amount.

• A 31 year-old man of Old Foxon Road was arrested at 11:53 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, violation of a learner’s permit, and possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Foxon Road at Rose Street. He was processed on a $2,500 bond amount.
