East Haven Police Incident Report for July 18 to 22


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Saturday, July 19

• A 26 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 1:28 a.m. and charged with failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, following too close, and evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident). She was processed on a $1,500 bond.

Sunday, July 20

• A 54 year-old man of a Messina Drive apartment was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.

• A 43 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 6:02 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree. She was processed on a $1,500 bond.

• A 50 year-old homeless man was arrested at 8:29 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was processed on a $1,500 bond amount.

Monday, July 21

• A 52 year-old man of an Old Foxon Road apartment was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the second degree. He was processed on a $1,000 bond amount.

• A 36 year-old man of Hemingway Avenue was arrested at 4:47 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 30 year-old man of George Street was arrested at 7:25 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree and three counts of breach of peace in the second degree. He was processed on a $2,500 bond.

Tuesday, July 22

• A 61 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 12:01 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and reckless driving.

• A 39 year-old man of a Main Street apartment was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on a warrant charging him with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed on a combined $8,000 bond amount.
