North Haven Police Incident Report for Dec. 1 to 3


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Sunday, Dec. 1

• No arrests were made.

• A 26 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:45 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 25 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:16 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Monday, Dec. 2

• A 25 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 2:58 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree.

Tuesday, Dec. 3

• A 27 year-old woman of Skiff Street was arrested at 8:08 p.m. and charged with interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct. In the same incident a 45 year-old woman was charged with disorderly conduct.

• From November 27 to December 3 North Haven police also issued two citations to motorists for operating a motor vehicle without a license, two citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and two citations for failure to obey a control signal. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, one citation for failure to grant right of way, one citation for traveling unreasonably fast, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and making an improper turn.
