East Haven Police Incident Report for Sept. 21 to 23


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Friday, Sept. 21

• A 28 year-old Bridgeport woman was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following a shoplifting incident at 430 Boston Post Road. She was processed on a $2,500 bond.

Saturday, Sept. 22

• A 52 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:15 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, threatening in the second degree, and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart following a motor vehicle accident on North Main Street.

Sunday, Sept. 23

• A 27 year-old Branford man was arrested at 9:57 a.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 bond.

• An 18 year-old man of Hughes Street was arrested at 2:30 p.m. and charged with criminal attempt to commit burglary in the third degree. He was processed on a $10,000 bond.

• A 24 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1 p.m. and charged with failure to have insurance and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.

• A 40 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:54 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and simple trespass.
