Guilford Police Incident Report for Nov. 9


The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.Wednesday, Nov. 9From Nov. 3 through Nov. 9, Guilford Police Department received 263 calls for service. Police made one arrest, investigated 36 motor vehicle accidents, issued 43 infractions, 32 written warnings and five verbal warnings. • No arrests were made.

• A wandering horse last seen in a backyard was reported as an animal nuisance, Great Hill Road, 300 block, 12:07 a.m.

• Police were asked to check the safety of a student walking on Long Hill Road in foggy conditions, 8:40 a.m.

• A residential burglary was reported at a West Lake Avenue address, 9:45 a.m.

• Disorderly conduct, caller reports being threatened by a resident of another room at Valley Motel, 500 Route 80, 2:45 p.m.

• Suspicious activity, bank assessor reports house which should be vacant appears to be occupied, Chestnut Grove, 3:47 p.m.

• Theft, Itouch stolen at Guilford High School, 605 New England Road, reported at 5:51 p.m.

• A counterfeiting incident was reported at a Boston Post Road address.

• A shoplifting incident was reported at CVS/Pharmacy, 1057 Boston Post Road, 6:51 p.m.

• A camp/trailer license plate was found on South Union Street.
