As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Tuesday, Nov. 30Senior correspondent Jason J. • A 16 year-old male was arrested at 10:25 p.m. and charged with breach of peace and assault in the third degree. In the same incident a 17 year-old male was charged with breach of peace and a 19 year-old woman of a Main Street apartment was charged with interfering with an officer. Officer Richard Smith observed two male youths engaged in an altercation at the Cumberland Farms located at 177 Main Street (Middlesex Turnpike) while approximately 15 teenagers stood by and watched. While placing both youths under arrest the 19 year-old female obstructed officers by inciting one of the males being arrested.
• A 16 year-old Old Saybrook woman was issued written warning at 6:39 p.m. for traveling too fast for conditions after she failed to negotiate a curve while operating a 2002 Chrysler Sebring eastbound on Kelsey Hill Road just west of Route 154 and struck a stone wall. The road was slick with moisture. A 16 year-old Westbrook girl and a 20 year-old Clinton man were passengers onboard. No injuries were reported at the scene.
