The Valley Regional girls’ basketball team took a 31-29 defeat against East Hampton in the Class M State Tournament final at Mohegan Sun Arena on March 18. The Warriors finished with an overall record of 21-5 for the 2022-’23 season. This year marked Valley’s first appearance in a state final since 1999 and its fifth in program history.
