Francis G. Amendola

Francis G. “Frank” Amendola of Branford passed away on Feb. 21, 2024, at his home. He was born in New Haven on March 17, 1945, son of the late Frank and Georgette Shemouny Amendola, and was a lifelong resident of Branford.

He served in the U. S. Army. He worked for many years for Echlin Manufacturing before retiring. He always enjoyed time spent with family, and he especially loved Birthday Cake night celebrations.

He is survived by his sister Georgette “Tootsie” (James) Laske of Branford and his nieces and nephews, Kathleen (James) Duncan, Thomas (Elaine) Laske, James (Mary) Laske, and Nancy (Kris) Akerley; and several great-nieces and nephews.
