Constance Joene Arsenault

Constance Joene Arsenault, 84, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully on Feb. 18, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Corinna, Maine, on May 6, 1939. She was the only daughter of Celon and Jessie (Porter) Sweet.

Connie was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She loved her family and friends fiercely and without limits. She loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. Throughout her life, she had many jobs. Among her favorites were teaching ceramic classes and selling Avon, where she repeatedly won the top sales awards for her area. She was a member of TOPS Westbrook Chapter #84 for 24 years, where she met some of her dearest friends. Over the years with TOPS, she held the office of leader, co-leader, secretary, treasurer, and weight recorder. She also loved planning programs and parties for this group. She loved peacocks and carnations. Nothing beat her spaghetti sauce. She was an incredibly talented artist who loved a wide range of arts and crafts. She enjoyed keeping her hands busy knitting and crocheting, especially the beautiful baby outfits and blankets for her newest great-grandbabies. When she wasn’t working on the next set of booties, she loved playing games on her phone, going out to eat with family and friends, playing tabletop games, playing mini golf, and swimming at the YMCA.

Connie is survived by the love of her life, her best friend and husband of 54 years, Wayne Paul Arsenault; her five children, one son, Corey Leigh Cuthbertson and late wife Patricia of Phoenix; four daughters, Laurie Ann Casdorph of North Baltimore, Ohio; Diana Lynn Irons and husband Steven of Clinton, Amy Elizabeth Colomo and wife Sue of Fountain Hills, Arizona; Katrina Joene Arsenault-Jordan and husband Kenneth of East Haven; her 11 grandchildren, Tina Katrina Brooks-Wolff, Connie-Jo Leigh Cuthbertson Muzzy, Elizabeth Lynn Halsall and husband Philip, Andrew Joseph Irons, William Laurence Kyttle and wife Bridgette, Dustin Michael McInerney, Jessica Marie Ford and husband Christopher, Kenneth Richard Jordan Jr., Amber Joene Lluberes and husband Luis, Robert John Kyttle, Alex Wayne Casdorph. She is also survived by 14 beautiful great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Ronald Sweet, Randy Sweet and wife Robin.
