Larry D’Amico

On Feb. 2, 2024, Larry “Lee” D’Amico passed peacefully in his sleep. Larry was one of the fiery red-headed D’Amico boys, born to Joseph and Dorothy D’Amico on April 8, 1954.

He leaves behind brothers Michael, Richard (Kathy), and David (Tina) and a devoted sister, Lisa D’Amico-Ludington (Don). He also leaves a daughter, Grace, and her mother, Sue Pettorini, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Larry spent most of his life in and around Guilford. A true New Englander, he loved everything about the shore, especially chowder, and made many memories in the Vineyard. In the winter, he enjoyed many weekends skiing in Vermont. He spent the past few years living in Maine.

As a child, Lee followed and imitated his two older brothers. And as he grew, he taught his love of music to his two younger siblings. Larry was happiest when he was engaged in some form of the arts. A painter by trade, he also loved classic paintings, museums, and galleries. He craved music and enjoyed many concerts; he listened to albums for hours while playing the piano and guitar. He was an avid movie-goer and appreciated the latest big screen film.

Larry had many life-long friends, but they say the people you know the longest in life are your brothers and sisters. Lee will be sadly missed by his. Please join his siblings in wishing him a peaceful, final journey.

Burial will be private. Please share a memory of Larry with someone who knew him and think of him when you enjoy one of the many forms of the arts.
