Barbara Ford Suraci

Barbara Ford Suraci, 90, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 65 years of the late Mauro Suraci. Barbara was born in New Haven on May 30, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Robert F. Sr. and Cecelia Glynn Ford.

She worked as a systems analyst for Aetna in Hartford until her retirement. Barbara earned a bachelor’s degree from New Haven State Teachers College. Beloved mother of Barbara A. Suraci, Edward M. Suraci (Cynthia), and Brian A. Suraci (Jennifer). She was the loving grandmother of Ethan P., Conner J., Juliana R., and John M. Suraci and sister of the late Robert F. Ford, Jr.

The visiting hours will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday morning, Jan. 19, in the Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave., North Haven.
