Raymond Stone Sr.

Raymond Stone Sr., 86, of North Branford, passed away Nov. 29, 2023, at Evergreen Woods after a brief illness with his family by his side. Raymond was born Nov. 7, 1937, and leaves behind his devoted son Richard T. Stone, daughter-in-law Maria, daughter-in-law Cindi, grandchildren Raymond III, Carissa, Tabitha, and Kai, as well as three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan Stone, and son, Raymond Stone Jr.

Raymond loved to travel and went on numerous cruises and business trips to Las Vegas and Reno with his wife, Joan. He loved to go fishing and golfing with his sons. Raymond worked in the gun industry since he was 17 years old, where he started at Winchester. He made his way to White Flyer, where he was a regional sales manager, and stayed there until his retirement. He loved to share stories of his time and passion for the gun industry and of his travels all over the country. He loved to share his knowledge and experiences with others. Raymond was very respected by his fellow colleagues in the industry.

There will be no calling hours, and a graveside service will be held at a future date.
