11/15/2023 02:43 PMGarrison Matthies, 62, of Clinton, passed away in his home on Nov. 8. Gary was the youngest son of the late Franklyn and Sheridan Matthies of Killingworth.
He received his degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University.
Gary was passionate about music and surrounded himself with a large collection of instruments as well as murals in his home of some of his favorite album covers. His favorite thing to do was pull out his guitar and play for anyone who would listen. Along with music, Gary loved books, especially science-fiction, and passed this love on to his children.
He is survived by his son Alexander, daughter Rachal, grandson Xander, and siblings Guy and Kimberly. He was a generous and loving father and grandfather and will be missed.
