10/26/2023 04:38 PMLouise (DeCusati) DiPetto, 96, of East Haven, passed away on Oct. 14 at home. She was born March 23, 1927, in New Haven, to Andrew and Carmel (Brangi) DeCusati. Louise is survived by her two loving children, Denise Bailey and Joseph DiPetto Jr. both of East Haven. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Lisa Landry (Dennis), Lawrence Bailey, and Joseph DiPetto; along with two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Brooke Landry. Louise is preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph DiPetto Sr. (1981); six brothers; and five sisters.
Louise worked at Echlin’s for 28 years starting as a Machine Assembler. She then worked her way to Quality Control Inspector until her retirement at age 75. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Family received friends prior to a service on Oct. 20 in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, with burial following beside her husband at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven.
