08/31/2023 07:27 AMDavid A. White, 54, of Chester, passed away peacefully from a stroke on July 17 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
David was an avid sports fan/statistician with various teams, including the New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Rams. He was a former long-term employee of Whelen Engineering of Chester.
David is survived by his parents, Jill and Jack White, of Deep River; a sister, Wendy White, her husband, Michael Tomeo, and their son, Avery Tomeo, all of New York City. In addition, there are many aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many good friends and neighbors.
A gathering of remembrance will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Carriage House of the Deep River Historical Society, 245 Main Street. Memorial donations may be made to Chester Food Pantry, c/o Town Hall, 203 Middlesex Avenue, Chester, CT 06412.
