She spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved to send cards, knowing her thoughts and wishes brought smiles and joy to those who received them. She looked forward to her visits with family and friends... and always anticipated her visits to Connecticut, where she shared good times with family, “extended” family, and special friends. She enjoyed stories and laughs during happy hour with a gin and tonic!

She was a member of the Carrolltown American Legion, Carrolltown Fire Engine Company, Ladies Auxiliary, Barnesboro Court C.D. of A. and Carrolltown Bowling League.

A wake and vigil were held July 25 at Stevens Funeral Home, Carrolltown. A funeral Mass was held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Carrolltown, with committal following July 26. For those wishing, donations can be made in her memory to: Clinton Rotary Cancer Relief Fund, P.O. Box 558 Clinton, Ct. or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Dr. Phillip Santa-Emma, colleagues, and staff at Mount Carmel for the exceptional care, respect, and support during this time.
