07/20/2023 12:13 PMOn July 13, Sharon (Sedelnick) D’Orlando, 73, a longtime resident of Guilford, passed away at CT Hospice, Branford. Sharon was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 23, 1949, daughter of the late Nicholas and Gladys (Bockelkamp) Sedelnick. Loving mother of Leonard D’Orlando and his wife Manuela of Guilford and Dawn D’Orlando and her husband Brett Danko of Newtown, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Abigail and Nicholas Danko of Newtown, Pennsylvania. Predeceased by her brothers, Nicholas Sedelnick and David Sedelnick.
Before retirement, she had worked as an office manager in Newtown, Pennsylvania, for 12 years. Sharon had previously worked in retail and as a realtor. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting, baking, and spending time with her family.
Friends are invited to a funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, July 21, at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Burial will follow in Alder Brook Cemetery, 375 Boston Street, Guilford.
