Faith’s contribution to public education was recognized with her induction into the Branford Education Hall of Fame in 2012.

Faith and Bob enjoyed many travels, including three-generation trips with their family. Faith especially enjoyed visiting countries where she could use her Spanish language skills. She was a member of The Owenego in Branford for over 70 years, where she enjoyed friendships, sunshine, and swimming. Faith served her church community of St. Augustine as a lay lector and Eucharistic Minister.

Faith is survived by her daughters, Patrice Kirshbaum and her husband, Donald, of Wallingford, and Joann Oleynik and her husband, Kenneth, of Woodbridge; and her grandchildren, of whom she was very proud, Lynn and Sara Kirshbaum and Colleen and Ryan Oleynik. She is also survived by her sister and six nieces and nephews.
