03/09/2023 11:22 AMDonald W. “Don” Ifkovic Sr., of Branford, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at his home. Don was born Feb. 21, 1943, in New Haven, the son of the late Anthony “Rip” Ifkovic and Ann Dion Ifkovic.
Don served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid boater, and one of his greatest pleasures was being out on the water. He was a longtime member of the Indian Neck Fire Co. #9 and was a custodian for the Branford School System for many years until retiring.
He is survived by his children, Donald W. Ifkovic Jr. of Guilford, Denise McLaughlin of Beaumont, Texas, and Kelly Nelson of Nederland, Texas: and his sister Linda Potter of Branford.
