Beverly E. Hague Carlson

Beverly E. Hague Carlson, 81, of North Haven, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Feb. 27. She was the beloved wife of Verner “Vern” Carlson for 65 years. Beverly was born in New Haven on June 20, 1941, the daughter of the late Ralph and Julia Fiondella Hague. A graduate of Hillhouse High School, Beverly moved to North Haven, where she started and raised her family. She worked alongside her husband for more than 60 years with the same loyalty and dedication that she provided to her family.

Beverly immensely enjoyed family gatherings and had a love for classic movies. She also enjoyed her weekly trips to the hair salon and any opportunity to get “dolled” up for a day out on the town.

Beverly will be greatly missed by her four children, Vernon Carlson, Tracy Carlson Ivers, Brett J. Carlson (wife, Kathleen), and TJ Carlson (wife, Chanda Charpentier). She was a loving grandmother to John, Grace, and Colin Ivers and Blake and Christina Carlson. She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Launder; two nieces, Terri and Wendy; and a nephew, Rich Launder.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 3, at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 8 Trumbull Place, North Haven at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, to attend the funeral service with the committal service immediately following in the All Saints Mausoleum. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN
