Dennis Ricciardi


Dennis Ricciardi, 52, of East Haven passed away Nov. 9 at the Arden House in Hamden. He was born May 29, 1970, in New Haven to Valentino and Teresa (Cipullo) Ricciardi.

Dennis is survived by his loving and devoted parents; sister, Sandra Donadio (Chris) of East Haven; nephew, Christopher Harvey of North Branford; nieces, Tina Wakefield of North Branford and Samantha Donadio of East Haven; and one great-niece, Ariana Wakefield. Dennis is also survived by uncles/aunts, Agostino Cipullo (Rosa) and Immacolata Valentino (Joseph); and numerous cousins, Gino Bencivenga, Rosa (Sal) Pellino, John Bencivenga, Marco Bencivenga, Dario Tommasone, Robert Faschi, Dominic Bencivenga, Frankie Cipullo, Richard Cipullo, Patricia Struzinski, Dora Morra, and Lena Malangone.

Dennis graduated from East Haven High School in 1989. He worked at Mite Corporation, then moved to work at United States Surgical Corp prior to the time of his illness. Dennis enjoyed DJing and going to the casino. He was a fan of the Washington Redskins and Boston Red Sox. He was always watching them play on television. He enjoyed cooking, bowling, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends. Dennis was a giant of a man with a true heart of gold. He will be deeply missed.

Family received friends on Nov. 13 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. His funeral procession left Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 14, for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 355 Foxon Rd, East Haven with Committal that followed at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
