11/04/2022 10:08 AMMary Lou (Leach) Hebert, 82, longtime resident of Clinton, passed away at the Regional Hospice of Danbury on Oct. 5. She was the wife of the late Kenneth N. Hebert. Mary Lou was born in Ilion, New York on Dec. 30, 1939, daughter of the late Bernard Leach and Marjorie (Ackley) Leach.
She was the loving mother of Kara Franco of New Haven. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ariana Franco, Gabriella Franco, and Jaydon Robinson. She was sister of William Leach of Georgia. She was predeceased by a brother, Ben Leach, and a sister, Jane Leach
Mrs. Hebert is a 1957 graduate of Ilion (New York) High School and St. Peter’s School of Nursing in Albany, New York. Before retirement she and her late husband Kenny owned and operated the Guilford Optical Shoppe in Guilford, for many years
