Brian Sevigny

Brian Sevigny, 57, of Port Orange, Fla., and formerly of Chester, passed away at home Aug. 27.

Brian graduated from Valley Regional High School in Deep River in 198, and from Thames Valley State Technical College in 1984.

Brian had a long and distinguished 37-year career at Whelen Engineering where he started in the shipping department. He went on to become an integral part of the Whelen Motorsports Division and the Emergency Vehicle Lighting Division. For the last three years, he was the Florida regional territory sales manager. Brian was well known in the law enforcement and racing communities for his problem solving and dedication to his customers.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Sevigny and Nicole Sevigny; parents, Richard and Elaine Sevigny; and brother Mark Sevigny.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Deep River Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Victory Junction Camp at https://victoryjunction.org/give/.
