Cecile M. (Giguere) Jablonski

Cecile M. (Giguere) Jablonski, 85, a longtime Guilford resident passed away on Sept. 11 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Jablonski. Born July 16, 1937, in Danielson, she was one of three daughters of the late Arthur Giguere and Alexandrine (Chabot) Giguere.

Cecile worked at Branford Stop & Shop in the deli for nearly 30 years. She later worked for Shore Publishing in Madison for 18 years.

Cecile is survived by her sons, Mark Jablonski and his wife, Charlene; Paul Jablonski and his wife, Bonnie; her beloved granddaughters, Andrea Jablonski and Amber Tannoia (Mike Tannoia). She is also survived by her sister Rita (Giguere) Rzeznikiewicz and her brother-in-law Rudy Rzeznikiewicz, and her nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Beatrice Gosselin.

There are no visiting hours. Cecile’s family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at St. George Catholic Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford.
