09/08/2022 12:00 PMThomas E. “Tom” Kinney of New Haven, formerly of Branford, died Aug. 30, at his home. Tom was born in New Haven, Sept. 5, 1956, son of the late Frank J. Kinney, Jr. and Ellen O’Donnell Kinney. He had worked as a serviceman for the Regional Water Authority for 23 years until retiring.
Tom is survived by his companion Deborah DeFonzo of New Haven; his daughters, Abigail Kinney Laudano of North Haven, and Megan Kinney of Branford; his grandson Anthony Laudano; his sisters, Mary Fox and Kathleen Xeller; and his brothers, William, John, Michael, James, Daniel, and Stephen Kinney. He was predeceased by his brothers, Donald, Patrick, and Frank.
Visiting hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford.
