08/04/2022 12:00 PMAnthony F. Cipriano, 81, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on July 30 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Christyne Pospesil Cipriano. Anthony was born in New Haven, on Feb. 9, 1941; and was the son of the late Fred and Louise DeMartino Cipriano.
He graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and had worked as a Large Case Team Coordinator, IRS, New Haven office until his retirement. Anthony volunteered at St. Thomas More, Catholic Student Center, and St. Barnabas Social Action Committee. He was a lifelong New York Yankees fan.
He was the father of Traci Cipriano (Michael Cummings) and David Cipriano (Meredith Hamm); grandfather of Audrey and Olivia Cummings, Gryphon Cipriano; and brother of Marie DeMusis, Gene Cipriano and the late Josephine Laudano.
Anthony was a man whose infectious warmth brought joy to those around him. He will truly be missed.
The visiting hours were on Aug. 2, at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Funeral services and Interment will be private.
